graphic design

Within any environmental branding program a certain degree of graphic design is necessary in creating the signage, branding, and communication kit of parts pieces. Apart from those graphic design pieces the following are examples of creating a new brand identity with a program that consisted entirely of graphic design practices.

Hawker

When creating Hawker as its own stand alone brand, new graphic standards were created. What differentiated Hawker from Beechcraft? The Hawker brand was for the businessman jet setting to his next meeting in style. The graphic design evoked this man through its clean and bright colors, business appropriate serif fonts, and the successful businessman's hint of class in the gold accents.

Beechcraft

When creating Beechcraft as its own stand alone brand new graphic standards were created. Who was the Beechcraft customer? The Beechcraft carriers were for adventurous businessman of the weekend, taking trips to the unknown mountains and jungles, and truly experiencing the grit of mother nature. To express this customer base we used deep saturated colors, clean serif fonts, and  vibrant imagery to excite one's inner adventurer.

Gilead Sciences

In the midst of renovating multiple buildings Gilead wanted to create environments that were a departure from their previous more formal business culture. They wanted spaces that would inspire creativity and would not be tiresome for their employees. In this effort they asked for several feature walls within their spaces including history walls, quote walls, super graphics, outreach walls, and many more. These are just a few examples of the ideas that were put forth to the team. The options to the left are super graphics for the lab areas and reflect the specific wings of the lab. The options below are graphics that were created for the cafeteria walls and reflect the brand colors.
